BOARD OF TRUSTEE ELECTION
BALLOT PROCESSING SCHEDULE NOTICE
Pursuant to Utah Code § 20A-3a-807, the Magna Water District provides notice of the District’s ballot processing schedule for the Board of Trustees election on November 3, 2026.
The District Clerk will process ballots from 10:00 am until process is complete on each of the following dates until all ballots are processed.
- October 14, 2026;
- October 19 – 22, 2026
- October 26 – 28, 2026; and
- November 2, 2026
Please note that on November 3, 2026, the District Clerk will begin processing ballots at 10:00 am and continue throughout that day as individuals vote at polling places until the process is complete.
The ballot process may include one or more of the following actions:
- signature verification;
- opening ballots;
- scanning ballots;
- adjudicating ballots;
- replicating damaged or defective ballots; and
- and tabulating votes

ELECTION NOTICE
Notice is given that a trustee election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 to elect candidates to the office of Trustee listed on the trustee ballot.
Registered voters receiving a ballot by mail, ballots will be mailed beginning October 13, 2026, 21 calendar days before the election. To return your ballot to us, there will be drop boxes located at Magna Library at 2675 S 8950 W, Magna, UT, West Valley City Hall at 3600 Constitution Blvd, West Valley City, UT, the District Office drop box (normally used for payments being dropped off, but is also being used for return of ballots), or mail back through the United States Postal Service.
Qualifications of individuals who may vote in the election are as follows:
Must be a registered voter in one of the following precincts:
MAG002, WVC001, MAG003, SLC902 (SMALL PORTION), MAG004, MAG006, MAG007, MAG008, MAG012, MAG013, MAG016, MAG015, MAG014, MAG011, MAG010, MAG009, MAG005, MAG001, MAG017

Verification of voter registration can be found at vote.utah.gov.
On the day of the election, election polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. and continue open until 8 p.m. Locations of polling places are Magna Library at 2675 S 8950 W, Magna, UT, and West Valley City Hall at 3600 Constitution Blvd, West Valley City, UT. Those individuals who are not able to vote a manual ballot by mail, will have an opportunity to vote in person on the day of the election.
